Last week, FIT (Flanders Investment and Trade) organized a trade mission to Bulgaria. The goal of FIT is to allow Flemish entrepreneurs to explore and support the opportunities abroad and assist in establishing new collaborations.

For me (Tobias), it was my first experience participating in a trade mission through FIT. I had some expectations for this first trip, but the mission far exceeded all my expectations.

On one hand, I met incredibly interesting people. The conversations with them were enriching both professionally and personally. Gaining insights from others in the industry with international experience truly opened my eyes to my own entrepreneurship as well as the potential of our Gecko-Fix brackets.

Additionally, I also made initial contacts with potential buyers of our brackets. Each encounter was engaging and open. Together, we quickly concluded that we want to pursue the path of potential collaboration.

I am looking forward to further discussions, and hopefully, we can soon announce that Gecko-Fix is now available in Bulgaria.

Inspired and fulfilled, I reflect on this first trade mission, which will definitely not be my last.
